ABC Lite INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING PACKET

One of the difficulties with International shipping is the high cost. I get many inquiries about cutting the shipping cost of the ABC Recommended oils outside the US. I charge what the shipping costs me, so whittling that down is a real challenge. The cost of sending a Medium Flat Rate box to Europe is in excess of $70.00, whereas a Flat Rate envelope is about $25.00 with a three pound weight limit (thats how the Spindle & Way oil kits are shipped). One of my recent customers from Sweden asked: “Why don’t you just make up an ABC kit in the smaller bottles?”. BRILLIANT!  I can ship half the volume for about 1/3 the cost!  I’m kind of ashamed I didn’t think of this myself.

THESE ARE ALL THE “RECOMMENDED OILS” IN the South Bend Lathe publication: “How to Run a Lathe”

For some time I’ve been selling lathe and machine tool oils, and have been asked to put together a kit for the SBL lathe owner that follows the recommended oiling regimen set forth in the Bible: “How to Run a Lathe”. This kit contains (4) 8 oz. bottles of the ONLY lubricants you will need for your South Bend Lathe. you will receive:

8 ounces of:   South Bend Lathe “A” type oil, which is Mobile Velocite #10 spindle lubricant. This will be used in the headstock spindle
bearings.

8 ounces of:   South Bend Lathe “B” type oil.  which is Mobil DTE 24 (ISO 32), which will be used in your gearbox.

8 ounces of:   South Bend Lathe “C” type oil,  which is Mobil DTE Heavy/Medium (ISO 68), which will be used to lubricate “everything else”.
(that would be screws, external gears, tailstock, etc.)

8 ounces of:   South Bend Way Oil, which is Mobil Vactra #2 Way Oil, which will be used to lubricate the sliding Way surfaces of the lathe,
(The ways, compound and cross slide).

Unfortunately as this is at the USPS weight limit for this package; I CANNOT combine shipping on multiple orders (Email me, maybe we can work something out).
